As believers, we're not immune from the challenges and the suffering in this world.

In fact, Jesus said just the opposite. He said we would face trials of many different kinds.

But here's a thing, through those trials Jesus promises to be with us, to give us

strength and to give us tailor-made grace. You see, knowing Christ, belonging to to Him changes our perspective on everything in life

from the greatest joys to the most difficult trials.

Since I was a little girl I I've loved reading Christian biographies.

And this is one of the biggest takeaways for me,

as I've read the stories of men and women

who have walked through difficult things,

through trials, through challenges,

who've served the Lord in hard places,

and yet have found the grace to persevere.
