Summary
Matthew McConaughey is an Academy-award winning actor, producer, director, philantrophist, and author of the bestselling book "Greenlights". He is one of Hollywood's most sought after leading men, who launched his career in the cult classic Dazed and Confused and has since then has won an Academy Award for his portrayal of Ron Woodroof in Dallas Buyers Club and appeared in over 40 feature films.
Today, Matthew joins Larry and discusses the role of being a father and what it means to be a parent. Matthew also talked about the importance of bringing loved ones together to create new relationships and form a community. He also emphasized the idea that a father's job does not stop with conceiving the baby, but continues afterwards
Family is an integral part of our lives and often serves as a source of strength and support when we are faced with difficult decisions. Family is truly everything and it is this kind of unconditional love and support that allows fathers to be their best selves.
When a father is called to pursue a certain path, no matter how difficult, his family is often the first to stand by him and support him. This is exemplified by Matthew McConaughey's experience in his film "Time to Kill", where his family encouraged him to carry on despite the danger.
Ultimately, it is this kind of support that allows fathers to pursue their calling and make a positive impact on the world.
