chapter 13. Matthew 13 and if this is your first time at Gateway, you need to know

that this weekend and next weekend we're doing something that we do once a year and that is

that we make commitments, financial commitments over and above our tithe and we call it Heart

for the Kingdom and there's a card that you were given when you came in or

it's in the seat back in front of you and I'm going to actually talk about it later in the

message because I feel like the Lord gave me a scripture for us to pray about.

Here's what I want to talk to you about today. I want to talk

to you about the principle of treasure. This to me is a principle that guides us when we think about treasure.

And we'll actually go two ways with this principle,

and it may even shock you where I go at first.

But like when I talk about tithing, it's not about 10%, it's about the principle of first. It's about putting God first in our lives, not just in their finances, but in every area of our life.

In the same way, this is a principle that I think we need to understand.

So it's called the principle of treasure.
