and welcome to this week's episode where we are diving into the brand new New York Times bestselling novel,

The Princess and The Scoundrel by Beth Revis. I have been looking forward to this novel for so long.

When it landed in my inbox, I was like, this is the best I ever. Only two days ago at the time of recording did, I think it was variety, released like the concept art of Leah's wedding dress. And honestly, like everything around this novel is really up both our alleys. Like we love romance. We love Han and Leah. I've, I loved Rebel

Rising by Beth Revis. So I was all in on this. We've been on the Halcyon. So it's,

it's a lot of checks. You know what I mean? So really excited to talk about this. I'm not going to

give too much away in this intersection, but I'm glad to be back talking about a single book in a single

episode because we've been going through our Blessed Rebel Queen on the podcast. And I was thinking

about one of the last time we talked about a single Star Wars book and it was The Fallen Star.

And that was way early in the year. So it's been a long time. And the truth is,

Star Wars has released really, really good, yeah, but really good Star Wars books recently.

Really good. And I think Caitlin and I's backlist is a lot. And I felt like I really wanted to start with this one when we got into it just because we've again, been looking forward to this for a really long time. So pumped to be talking about it and to be back in the book talking space. Yeah, I'm really excited too. You know, I just finished watching the original trilogy with my three oldest nieces for the first time. So like last weekend, I finished watching Return the Jedi with them. Hallmark experience, loved every minute of it. I think they're going to be Star Wars fans, just so you all know. They loved every minute of it too, right?

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, they really liked it. Yeah. Yeah. It was like some of it was interesting,

like the periods when they were more interested. Like they would kind of swap movie to movie who was

like 100% in who fell asleep halfway through, honestly, because we always had to watch it,
