And we don't have Katie. It's a very weird time. It's 2025. What can I say? But we're so excited. If you are new here, it's usually Katie. But occasionally Jake has been here lately, and he's awesome, and he's a friend of ours,

and he's our co-host on the podcast that we abruptly dropped and stopped doing a date with

the bake about Great British Bakeoff.

And we're still so sorry, and we still see your messages, the five of you that missed that show. And it seems

like it's been franchised off where there's now multiple versions on whatever Roku has turned into,

I think. There are, not of our podcast of Great British makeup. No, no, no, no, but you know,

who knows? Some kind of Great British something, you know, not exactly this main show, but a different

alt, but it's mostly the same cast.

I thought I saw a kids version and a pros version where they have professional bakers, which

seems like that defeats the whole fun of the show, is watching people forget to turn their

ovens on because they're not professionals.

That's a good point.

I don't want to see pros. You don't give them the easy outs, you know? It's like, you should know.

That's your job. Yeah, that's literally your job. But we are here to talk about Dateline,

because this is a date with Dateline. And Jake, thank you for joining me. We are talking about

an episode so big, so bold, so

mank that we are going to be dividing it up into two weeks. So I will be back with part two

next week. This episode is called The Prince, the Wiz Kid, and the Millionaire. And my notes were

getting so long because there were so many people involved, so many crazy characters that my notes are already longer than they normally are, and we only are talking about half of it. That's how much is happening. It is season 34, episode three. So we're brand new in this new season, and it's already our second Mank of the season. Three episodes,

two of them, Manx. That's a ratio I can get behind. And this one, did they have fancier credits?

I felt like they did. They had kind of like the vagusy kitsch kind of. They at one point had

graphics that came in, and then they disappeared. So they were only there at one point had graphics that came in and then they disappeared.
