is going to speak through it. Thank you so much for getting us. Would you turn with me to Exodus

Chapter 19, please? If you're new to Bible study, nice and easy to find, that will be the second

book in your Bibles. Exodus Chapter 19. Somebody tell me today what our series is on presently. We've been on

the priesthood. We started with Canaan Abel, a surprise, I suppose, to all of us. We went then to the

14th chapter of Genesis and studied Melchizedek. We also learned from the book of Hebrews that Christ was a high priest called in the order of

Melchizedek, and that will mean a tremendous amount to us toward the end of our series.

But we're pressing on now, and I want you to know something as we're really jumping to Exodus 19,

because I thought, how thorough do I want to be

in showing every single hint or dimension of the priesthood it would be impossible to do that in such a way

that we would have the time over the course of the next year to even make a comprehensive study out of this. If we stopped in

every place where you see a hint. So I had to jump over some hints so I could get on to something

that I believe will all agree has substance enough that we will be able to look at it

and very, very obviously tell that there are dimensions of the priesthood being unfolded.

So I'm going to work with you through the 19th chapter of the book of Exodus.

And then we're going to look at a little portion of the 20th.

I want to begin verses 1 through 6, Exodus 19, in the third month after the Israelites left Egypt.

So they have departed Egypt in the great deliverance of God through the dry ground of the Red Sea.

They left Egypt three months prior.
