Tottenham Hotspur as they take on wolves, the team, not the Apex Predator.

You're all right, Tim? Yeah, fine. I've been waiting to talk about Wolves at length all season on this podcast, and you've waited until the week that we're relegated. So thanks for that, Matt. Blame the producers. Right, later we're going to get into the action elsewhere, but first let's get to our feature presentation. So, after losing 3-0 to Leeds last weekend and West Hampton Wanderers were officially

relegated from the Premier League eight years after being promoted back to the top flight.

Thanks to AFC Bournemouth's best friend alphabetical order, Wool's started the season bottom of the league.

They lost 4-0 to Manchester City on the opening day, so stayed there and they have remained there for the entirety of

this season. Crikey. Safe to say then, Tim, you've had plenty of time to brace yourself for what

happened on Monday. Well, actually, Matt, we were 19th on match day too, so technically, we haven't been bottom all season. Because I think West Ham, you were thrashed by Chelsea on Match Day 2. So Wolves were, yeah, were 19th for one week. But it's not something I'm going to hang on to, to be honest. It was a really weird feeling on Monday when it finally happened. There were been three other wolves relegations in my lifetime and they all pretty much went you know towards the end of the

season and there's lots of shock and anger and frustration and lots of emotion but yeah I was

watching the snooker when walls were relegated on Monday night. It's officially happened. Okay great

because you know when you take two points from your opening

18 league matches. At some point during that run, you accept that you're going to be relegated.

So it's been a long time coming and just a strange feeling of resignation and acceptance for

some time. Those emotions have kind of come to the surface this week after relegation is confirmed.

And also a lot of nostalgia map for those sort of early Premier League years under Noona. There's been lots of clips doing their rounds on social media this week of some of those brilliant wins that Wolves achieved under Nuno when they were finishing seventh twice. So yeah, it feels quite pertinent that Leicester have gone down this week because I've been thinking a lot about Leicester from a Wolves perspective in terms of you know like Leicester walls have also had their their own sort of

exciting Premier League journey, albeit on a much less successful scale but now they need to avoid
