This year the football ramble team are doing Movember.

We have answered the call of the moustache and signed up at Movember.com to start raising

funds for men's health.

Why would you dedicate your upper lip to facial fur?

I hear you ask, well there are some devastating statistics.

On average men will die almost four years earlier than women and almost three or four suicides

are men.

Movember exists to stop men dying too young by tackling some of the most complex health

issues facing men to death, mental health, suicide, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

So as you can see here at the football ramble we've got some very important work to do

namely growing them moustaches.

I'm actually quite pleased because I can't do sideburns, I can't do a little beard,

but I can do a pretty decent tash and I'm thinking of maybe experimenting with one

of those like Vincent Mann silent move e repensal moustaches this year.

I'm entering my villain period you see or whatever people say when they can't think of

a compliment for someone.

So if there's ever a time for you to test the waters with a handlebar moustache or a pencil

for a brilliant cause, this movember is the time for it.

Fair enough, if you're not wanting to grow a short stopping tash then there are several

other ways to take part including a run, a walk, hosting your own event to raise funds

for men's health, you can even choose to more your own way where you make the rules.

Whatever you choose to do, we're in this together to save more men's lives.
