Suderman a friend of mine over at Reason, described that as Waldorf and Stattler, the two

Muppets from the Opera Box, those old guys, it was as if Waldorf and Stattler performed a Samuel Beckett play while high

if you like Samuel Beckett or you hate Samuel Beckett but you like the m Muppets, that's a pretty good reference.

Anyway, I think he captured it.

That was a crazy debate, and we're going to unpack it today, not just me.

But I am going to bring on several of my friends that are not only my friends and comedians that I know,

but are fan favorites that come on the program. Turner Sparks, Michael Kaplan of the Lost in America

Podcast, as well as Dr. Andrea Jones Roy, a political

scientist and comedian in her own right, they're all going to come on the program

here momentarily so that we can make sense of the train wreck we witnessed yesterday.

And we'll probably be doing that somewhat regularly as we have decided to combine forces and

create the world's smartest podcast network. We are formalizing our podcasting alliance so that if we ever go to war with

France, we know whose side we're on. We're going to be on the world's smartest

podcast network. That's our side. And what you're about to hear today is going to be a

monthly staple of the program we're going to put this out on the main feed today

however from now on once a month at least we're all going to get together and do

bonus content like the episode you're

about to hear. So if the end of the episode you think, you know that was actually

much better hearing comedians discuss the presidential debate than if we turned into regular punditry.
