That daily look at the issues Americans care about most. At a surprise news conference this morning, President Obama said the latest

dispute over the debt ceiling is already damaging the economy. He accused Republicans

of playing chicken with the full faith and credit of the United States and threatening

to shut down the government. We'll explain the debt-sealing debate and its economic and political impact.

suffered traumatic brain damage from repeated blows to the head,

evidence that has led to proposals that could change the game.
