Summary

The impeachment drama is about to enter a new phase: the Senate trial. But the fight over what rules will govern the proceedings continues. The White House now wants to preserve the option of moving to swiftly dismiss the charges against President Donald Trump after opening arguments. the articles of impeachment over to the Senate.

1:46.4

She's meeting with her House Democratic caucus tomorrow morning and then we'll proceed to have a vote on who the House managers are and send those articles over kicking off the formal Senate trial experience.

1:58.2

You know, it is clear that she thinks she's reframed the debate in advance of the trial,

2:05.1

and it sounds perhaps a little poll tested about how much an emphasis she is putting on the
