I'm your host Amanda Bible Williams, and I'm your other host Rachel Myers, and we are

starting a brand new series this week, a four week series about the presence of God,

and this week we are joined by our editorial director Jessica Lam.

She is such a joy to have every time we have run the podcast, and of course you'll

hear as we talk about it, that this is the plan that she really wanted to see happen

for you guys, and we're so excited to share it with you, so let's just get right to it.

If Jessica had a reading plan baby, this is it.

This plan would be it.

My son just turned one year old in August, and when I first brought this plan idea to the

team, I knew I was pregnant, the rest of you didn't know I was pregnant yet, sneaky,

sneaky sneaky.

The team decided this was a plan we wanted to study with the community right around the

time where I announced that I was pregnant.

I started reading research and resources on this topic, the day that I went to the hospital

to have my son in August 2019, and then now right around his first birthday, it is here

in the world, it is matured, it is ready to share with everyone.

I mean, reading plans take time, and at Sheerid's Truth, reading plans are our babies.

So, often, I remember in the spring that whole promises of God study was something that

I felt like I had midwifeed, midwifed, midwifered into existence as well, and that obviously

took a whole crowd of people to make happen.
