Hi, everybody. Radio Free Mormon here. Welcome to Mormonism live. It is Wednesday night. It's October 8th,

2025, and there's only one person in the hen house tonight, and it's yours truly. So look out. Bill Reel is not here.

He's not here to write heard over me. So who knows what might happen.

It's a funny thing happened on the way to the show tonight is that apparently all the internet in about a third of Cedar City went out.

At the same time, and his fate would have it. Not only does Bill live in Cedar City, yes, he lives in that third of Cedar City.

So what he has done is he has grabbed his

laptop. He's hot-footed it over to the nearest library. He's tried to find a, they have these

little private things. By the way, thanks to Rebecca Biblioteca, the librarian for bringing that

that possibility. And so he was in one until like six o'clock mountain time just a couple minutes ago.

And apparently he can only do it by like the hour and the half and that time was up.

And so he has to find another one.

Anyway, that's how they do things at the library.

So he's trying to find another one of these rooms.

And once he gets in there, he's going to get set up, he's going to come in and he's going to join us on this really,

really exciting Mormonism live, exciting for more ways than one. What we're talking about

tonight is the next president of the LDS church, Dallin H. Oaks. There's been a lot of things going on

about him in the press. You could say it's the honeymoon phase, right? We know he's going to be the

president, but he hasn't actually become the president. So they're running a lot of puff pieces

about Dallan Oaks. What we thought we would do tonight

is supply their deficiency by showing the other side of Elder Oaks record, which really is remarkable.

Once I started getting into it along with Bill, I found that there were 10 things, 10 things that
