Hey there, I am so glad that we get to serve you today through this podcast.

I pray God is going to speak to you.

I want to look through these scriptures with you.

So keeping it all really is one.

We're going to be looking at verses 17 through 21, but let's start at 13. Therefore,

you and I learn that we've got to prepare our minds for action. Be self-control. We've got

to set our hope fully on the grace to be given us when Jesus Christ is revealed. The Word of

God tells us that as obedient children, we're not to

conform to the evil desires we had when we once lived in

ignorance.

But just as He who called us is holy, so be holy in all you do,

for it is written, be holy because I am holy.

Look at one another and say, be holy. Praise you, Lord. Enable us, Father, empower us, Father.

Verse 17 says, since you call on a father who judges each man's work. Now, I've got to stop there for

just a moment because I am so grateful for the wording there. I believe that every single reference,

every single name given to God in Scripture is always in perfect context with the verse.

That if he is called the provider, look in that verse, there is something he's providing.

If he is called the El Shaddai, whatever name, whether he's called God or Lord, I think there is a reason in every single verse why he would be called one or the other.

In the beginning of the scriptures, in the beginning God created, that is creator God, Elohim,

but as soon as it turns to the place where it says he created man, it becomes, and the Lord

created man. Because Lord is the covenant name of God it shows the relational kind of commitment

he has to man over animal over plant life or anything else in the stellar universe
