Summary

0:00.0	On October 6th, 1989, a teacher was driving home from school. She was on Farm Road 105 in
0:06.9	Green County, Missouri. She happened to glance out of her window, and that's when she saw a big black
0:12.9	bag sitting a couple of feet off the road. According to the TV show snapped, she pulled over,
0:18.8	got out of her car, and walked over to take a closer look.
0:21.9	That's when she saw the blood. And then to her horror, she saw a pair of human legs.
0:28.4	There were more bags there. Inside another plastic garbage bag, there was a torso that had been
0:34.3	sawed in half. In another separate plastic bag, there was a head. There were towels,
0:40.4	a knife, bloody paper towels, and a pair of garden chairs. There were more body parts, a pelvis and feet,
0:47.6	all stacked up on the side of the road. It was like a scene from a horror movie. The victim's
0:53.8	arms were nowhere to be found.
0:56.1	The woman called 911 and police raced to the scene.
0:59.7	They couldn't find any identification on the body,
1:02.9	but investigators were able to determine that the victim was a woman.
1:06.8	Word spread fast of this brutal murder,
1:09.4	and it wasn't long before everyone in town knew
1:12.0	that the dismembered body and severed head
1:14.2	were the remains of a local preacher's wife.
