Bechio. Today we continue with the theme of joy from last week, listening to a clip

from one of Graham's teachings found on BrilliantBookhouse.com called The Practice of Delight.

Some key thoughts that Graham explores here are, joy is who God is and heaven is full

of joy. So joy is the atmosphere of heaven. That makes it a reality that we can live

in because of our citizenship there and our placement in Christ in heavenly places.

In the Holy Spirit, you can make even the smallest thing a delight. God is full of pleasure

and joy. He's the happiest person we can know. And learn to see the good in everything.

Learn to see the joy. Learn to see the pleasure in life because it enlarges you on the inside.

And learn to take pleasure in your relationship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Alright, let's dive in.

I want to talk to you in this session really about delight because you have to know that

God is delighted with you, right? But it's one thing to know in your head. It's another

thing to really fully experience it in your heart. So if you can understand the concept

of God being delighted, if you can understand that in your head, then the Holy Spirit then

is going to translate that into an experience and encounter. Every time God talks to you,

he's inviting you into an experience with him or an encounter with something. So I love

the voice of Lord Jesus said, these words I've spoken to you so that my joy might be in you.

What he's saying is, every time I talk to you, you can have an encounter with my joy.

You can have an experience of it. So I've grown to expect that over the years that every

time God speaks to me, I feel His happiness in that moment of connection. These are real

intangible things. So we're always making our spirituality real, intangible and experiential.
