You do realize a lot of stuff we say we need, we don't literally need.

Do you realize that?

Do you realize that if you got food to eat, somewhere to lay your head,

reasonable portion of health and strength, you can live your life.

We need some more money.

No, you like some more money.

But you're going to survive if you learn how to work well with what you have.

And we who are people of faith, if I learn how to trust God for what I want that I don't yet have.

I'm going to trust God for that.

For a year, she had waited on a blessing that had not yet come, but that didn't stop her from being a blessing to someone else.

She wants to be a blessing. She is not worried about anything else, which we're going to see later, her lack. In fact, at this point, by this verse, you don't yet know that she has lack.

We're going to find that as we move through the passage. She knows she has lack, but she's

determined not to focus on the lack. She's determined to focus on the blessing that she can be.
