All right, we are going to draw this series to an end today i think and uh it has been

an amazing time spent with you and i pray that it just helps you throughout your holiday

to just know how to defeat the war against the soul.

And so we've been doing a series of teachings on the war against the souls and basically talking to people about how to handle their addictions, how to handle their cravings.

And so today we're going to just dig right into it.

We're going to show you what you need to do to handle those addictions in your life.

And we call today's teaching the power to change self-indulgence.

What is that power that will change self-indulgence? What is that power that will change lasciviousness in your life?

That lasciviousness is where you get caught up into something and one more time becomes one more time, becomes one more time, and you are having a hard time finding the breaks.

It doesn't mean that you're just this awful person.

It just means that you just don't really understand how to deal with these things that

have become addictive behaviors in your life.

Now I'm going to tell you something, every addictive behavior in your life and every self-indulgence,

the purpose of it is to get you to submit to a change of identity.

That's the whole purpose. The enemy does not want you to hold on to the identity you have in Christ Jesus.

And through addictive behaviors, it wants to convince you that you are as you behave. And what you got to understand is that your identity in Christ is what's going to change your behavior.

But the devil wants you to think it's your behavior that's going to change your identity.

And so we submit to those behaviors and completely let go of the identity.
