Today I want to talk about the power that comes with experience, and you're like, what?

See, Albert Einstein said that the only source of knowledge is experience. Think about that

for a minute, so that one of the smartest, most intelligent and learned men in history,

of the history of mankind, pointing to experience

as the only source of knowledge.

And before you try to make an argument for quote unquote information or books or the

internet being enough, let me just say wrong.

Sure you could get information from books and YouTube videos, but you can't get true knowledge

from them. They can prepare you for what's coming, but you can't get true knowledge from them. They can prepare you for

what's coming, but you need to get your hands dirty. You need experience to gain true knowledge.

Think back to when you were a kid. How did you learn to ride a bike? How'd you learn to swim? How'd you

learn geometry? How'd you learn to play a sport or a musical instrument? You learn by doing. You learn

through experience. Now, I learned

real estate investing by purchasing homes initially and fixing them up. I learned how to find

homes by driving for dollars. I learned how to find partners or investors by going out and meeting

people. You see, experience teaches you everything. Brian Tracy has a great quote that goes,

every experience is a positive experience if I view it as an opportunity for growth and self-mastery. Now, I take that sentiment to heart. So on my journey to where I am today and the success that I'm blessed to enjoy, I've had a few detours. You know, today I call them seminars because, you know, first I needed to change my mindset

from the failure language to opportunity language like Brian Tracy mentioned.
