Summary
The truth is often uncomfortable. And, frankly, most of us aren't willing to take a deep, hard look into what we know to be true. We do this because we're afraid. Afraid of what we might see. Afraid of what it may expose in ourselves. Afraid of what the truth may require us to do moving forward.
My guest today is a friend and long-term mentor of mine. His name is Sean Whalen and one thing he's been consistent about his desire to seek and share the truth. And, he's revealed, for better and worse, some truths about myself that I was unwilling to acknowledge for a very long time. Today we talk about why some people despise the success of others, acknowledging what kind of men you need to become to achieve what you want, why most people are blissfully dissatisfied, and the power of embracing uncomfortable truths.

SEAN WHALEN
My guest today is my good friend and long-term mentor, Sean Whalen. He has been instrumental in helping me build Order of Man into what it is but more importantly, me into who I am.
I don't always agree with or, to a degree, get along with him but I believe that is the power of a coach and mentor – someone who you can respect but challenges you to look at life in a way that is difficult and uncomfortable.
And Sean certainly makes people feel uncomfortable. He says out loud what most people believe to be things you don't say at all and, in the process, his videos and messages have been viewed hundreds of millions of times. Obviously, he's a very polarizing man but he forces you to look at situations and events in new ways and has personally helped me achieve some incredible results in my life.
