Summary

Peter is chosen from the many applicants to be the new reporter for the school newspaper. Calling himself "Scoop" Brady, he initially finds it hard to come up with material, until his family recommends appealing to people's vanity. Writing about his classmates makes him more popular and and they shower him with favors, but he becomes distracted from his school work.
