This is Holy Family School of Faith.

Well, welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am so excited to have the second Rosary on the road in a row here.

Saturday evening, I know you'll get this on Sunday, but I'm at the Freckers

this evening with a bunch of family and friends

and we've had food and drinks and good conversation

and now we're gonna pray the Rosary together

because that's just the way of life. So let's begin in the name of the

Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit and let's call to mind all those that we've

promised to pray for and I'm in the last week of this 54 day Rosary novena the last

27 days thank he God ahead of time that my son-in-law Nick, who's the officer in the Marines, will be home for the birth of his son, first part of June, and today American Airlines cancelled the flight and the Defense

Department has got everything shut down so our lady is going to have to come through. So with that we continue to pray for little Olivia

canelie that her seizure clusters will end and she will be healed and for the strengthening of Jeannie Sherman.

So our goal is to become virtuous, that is a way of being oriented toward the good of all the powers of the

soul, the intellect, the free will, and the passions, all working in harmony.

And virtue results in our being able to delight in the human goods and the ultimate good union with God.

Our passions or emotions were designed to propel us toward this good, but too often they propel us

toward our own ruin.

Now we certainly don't want to

stuff our desires, but we also don't want them to run roughshod over us.

So we need to understand our passions, our emotions, our desires,

and that is the point of the meditation today.
