As I said on Monday night, I'm, you know, teaching on the cross

trying to explain that that's talking about what Jesus did for us and

that he didn't do a partial deal he paid the full price and that when Paul referred

to the cross he was referring to the complete

atonement of Jesus that it stands alone that we can't add to it all we can do is

subtract from it. I've used a number of scriptures that talk about how you can make the

cross of none effect through our unbelief, but not only unbelief through

our trying to establish our own righteousness and trying to stand before God in our own goodness.

That negates what Jesus has done.

So that's what we've been talking about.

And of course, I preach on the grace of God nearly all the time because that's

what changed my life and I emphasize the grace of God but you know what there is

a justice a holiness, an all to God and I think that sometimes

people miss this. And I've become aware that there are people today that are

preaching what I've heard called universalism or ultimate reconciliation

that you know people are just in a somehow or another automatically be

reconciled to God there's a lot of people that don't believe that there's a hell

they believe that you know you just live in hell here on the earth but if you don't know the Lord

well then you just cease to exist and there's all kinds of variations of this and I
