This week marks the final stop of our HBCU tour on the power of the Black Folk.

We're in the Black Mecca, Atlanta, home of three of the most prestigious historically

Black colleges and universities, Spellman, Morehouse, and Clark Atlanta.

We're listening now to Clark's mighty marching panthers.

Throughout our series, we've spoken with energized students across the South about the

political issues that matter most of them, like student loan debt, climate change, reproductive

rights, and education.

Now, it's time to talk about the true power of the young Black Folk.

And with less than a month until the midterms, what better place to end our series than

in a place that has played such a pivotal role in the fight for voting rights?

More than the cane, Jr. inspired me to find a way to get it in a way.

And I got in trouble.

Good trouble.

As a congressman from Georgia, the late John Lewis spent years working to strengthen the

Voting Rights Act.

He was a college student himself when he became a founding member of SNCC, the Student Nonviolent

Coordinating Committee.

We're marching today to dramatize to the nation and dramatize to the world.

There are hundreds and thousands of Negro citizens, particularly here in the Black Folk

area, the Nye Direct to Vote.

Everybody on my grandmother's side went to a HBCU.
