0:07.2	So when it comes to prayer, petitionary prayer, you know, prayers where you're asking for
0:13.1	something of God, whether that's for yourself or for someone else that's like intercessory
0:17.2	prayer or for a group of people or for the world, whenever you're asking God to act,
0:22.9	the big question almost always comes up.
0:25.2	Like, why would you do that?
0:27.1	What good does prayer do?
0:29.2	The first glenity say, well, if God is good and God already wants the good to happen,

0:35.6	So why would you need to pray for that kind of a thing?
0:38.4	Why doesn't God just do it?
0:39.9	That's a fantastic question.
0:42.1	Does our prayer change God?
0:45.1	Answer.
0:46.1	No, not really.
0:47.1	God is good.
0:48.1	He's immutable.
0:49.1	He's unchangeable.
0:50.1	He is goodness, so he doesn't need to be convinced to be good.
0:54.1	He is love.
0:55.1	He doesn't need to be convinced to love us more.
0:59.1	So what good does prayer do?
