Hey everybody. This is Heidi St. John. Welcome to the Busy Mom podcast. I'm here today with Dorenda Wilson. Welcome back, Dorena. You're kind of a feature here now. I'm becoming that.

Kind of a kind of a stationary, sort of a static figure in the podcast.

And I appreciate you being here.

I love being here.

I appreciate your perspective.

And one of the things I love about Dorinda is her commitment to prayer.

And there have been many, many times when we've been sitting talking about something and

she'll just go, I'm going to pray and she'll start praying. She never says, can I, do you mind if I pray for you, which creates

sort of an awkwardness? I don't ask permission. No, that just makes it awkward, you know, can I pray for you? And the person, yes. Silence. You know, Jordan is like, I'm going to pray for you. Father God, I'm like, okay, we're praying. We're doing this thing.

Hang on to your hat. Hang on to your hat. We're praying.

But there's power, the Bible says, in prayer. And we want to talk about that today.

Just a couple days ago, we were talking pretty passionately about the abortion industry in this nation.

And our firm belief that Planned Parenthood needs to be unfunded, defunded, absolutely not funded

by the government of the United States of America. And I want to read to you the definition of the

word power today. Webster says that the word power is a noun, and it's the ability to do something

or act in a particular way, especially as a

faculty or quality, or the capacity or ability to direct or influence the behavior of others

or the course of events. Wow, wow, wow. The Bible says that there's power in prayer. And we want to talk to you
