Praise is a powerful thing in times of joy and in times of help,

but especially in times of trouble.

In 2 Chronicles, chapter 20, we see this power exemplified through King

Jehovah and the tribe of Judah. As they face intense opposition, they learned that

the battle was never theirs to win, but God's. Their part was to join the fight with praise.

verses 1 and 2, and it came to pass after this also that the children of Moab and the children of Amam,

with them other beside the Ammonites came against Jehossophat to battle. Now here is King Jehossophat, a good king, he loves the Lord and he's told you've got some enemies out there.

The three powerful kings that are coming against you, the inhabitants there of

Amam and Moab and Mount Seer have come against you.
