0:06.7	Namely, the protests for Justice for George Floyd have escalated and become even more
0:13.7	prominent and now have become thankfully and wonderfully about complete police brutality,
0:20.4	reform, and also in my mind abolition, which I'm very excited for because I think the
0:25.6	momentum from all of this is, I mean, it's ringing similar to me to what happened in
0:31.0	the Civil Rights era.
0:32.6	I feel like there's a lot of hope for like massive change, which is wonderful.
0:39.2	And they're marching on Washington in August.
0:43.2	Incredible.
0:44.2	And also the way that everyone has mobilized in support of Black Lives Matter has been
0:49.4	so just historic and obviously having social media and being able to see the ways in which
0:56.4	the media is lying to us about what's happening, the ways in which, you know, for example,
1:01.7	the Buffalo PD yesterday released a statement saying that an elderly man had tripped and fallen.
1:08.7	But luckily we had video evidence that police had shoved him and then left him there.
1:14.0	While he was bleeding from his head.
1:16.2	Yes.
1:17.2	So I'm very, I mean, usually I'm so pessimistic.
1:21.8	I'm very optimistic about people being able to actually see what goes on in police departments
1:27.6	and how corrupt and racist that they are.
1:31.1	So we wanted to hop on and obviously show our complete support with Black Lives Matter.
1:36.5	And also I have some resources I want to talk about.
