| 1:30.3 | I already mentioned it but I have found that one of the best ways to be able to strive to reach for perfection |
| 1:37.3 | but also strive healthily, strive with balance is through experiences that create perspective |
| 1:45.3 | Experiences that force you to sit and reflect on some of the biggest most uncomfortable questions |
| 1:53.3 | that the busyness of life often enables us to avoid |
| 1:58.3 | This perspective can be shaped either through lived experiences |
| 2:02.3 | but even better is through understanding other people's experiences |
| 2:07.3 | Fortunately or unfortunately I've experienced this in both ways |
| 2:12.3 | First I've experienced it with the death of my dad |
| 2:16.3 | When I was a junior in college at the University of Michigan this was 2013 |
| 2:25.3 | A week before going back to Michigan going back to campus for school my dad passed away suddenly from a stroke |
| 2:32.3 | He was in perfect health, literally same build as me, same health as me, eight healthily, worked out five days a week |
