Summary

New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 46 Maybe about a fifth of American adults decided not to get the shot (you know, THE shot). Maybe it was a quarter. Either way, that's not very many, it seems, but it was enough to stop the rollout of shot-based passports that could control our behavior and movement, in addition to the digital ID and tracking system that would come with it. That's the power of opting out of the totalitarian system they're trying to foist upon us, mostly by gaining our consent through appeals to "safety" and "convenience." This can be replicated, for example in schools and "competency-based education" and SEL surveying, and it not only slows down their rollouts but can disrupt them entirely, and this is a huge ingredient in how we beat an enemy that seems to have already captured everything. In this episode of New Discourses Bullets, host James Lindsay discusses the strategic power of opting out and the role it can play in stopping the madness of the Woke Marxist cult. Hey everybody, it's James Lindsay, you're listening to new discourses, Bullets, where I give

0:15.0

you a short pull-it-point type summary of a single topic from woke Marxism so that we

0:20.8

know how to beat it.

0:23.0

And I actually kind of want to talk about how we win today.

0:27.3

A lot of people believe that we're going to win by some kind of big miraculous event that's

0:33.4

not going to happen.

0:34.4

We're not going to have some big decisive victory over the woke.

0:38.3

There are some things that could happen that would do a lot of damage to their program

0:43.3

and to change the landscape a lot, but primarily the way that we are going to win is by refusing

0:49.5

to become cogs in their machine.

0:51.9

I would say that we're going to take the cogs out of the machine, but you may have to understand

0:55.8

that you are the cogs in their machines.

0:59.7

And so I've mentioned before, and maybe I should review it here, that the tyranny of

1:05.8

the future is primarily going to be opt-in, and that actually is going to tell us how

1:10.4

to beat them in the long term, which is to opt out or to refuse to opt in as it were.

1:18.3

And so before that, let me kind of just summarize, though, how this is supposed to work.

1:26.0

They're trying to make gigantic moves to transform the world.

1:31.1

That's their words for it, transform the world.

1:33.2

Now those are Marxist words.

1:35.0

If you don't know that Marx's goal when he said that the point is to change the world,

1:38.9

the philosopher's hitherto have only sought to understand the world, the point is to change

1:42.4

it.
