If you are sharing something to connect with people to something and usually it feels scary I found that the

scarier something feels the better it is that you share it but if it feels like relief, like, okay, I've unloaded that, like you would talk to a friend,

then often it's done selfishly.

It's done because you just want to get this off your chest

and you just need an ear and you don't have anyone close to you

to share that with.

I'm not sure if this makes sense.

It actually sounds really harsh now that I'm saying it.

Really what I mean is that oftentimes being vulnerable on the internet is whatever you make it.

I can look at one person and say, oh my God, you're talking about your divorce and that's a little much and you need to rein it in.

And then I can see someone else like, what's your name?

Glenin and Doyle, Mamisteri recently posted about her divorce.

It was the most beautiful freaking thing I'd ever read.

So it can be the two same topics.

So one person can share something

and another person can share the exact same thing,

but their intention of unloading versus connection
