Reignite your marriage: www.thedadedge.com/extraordinary-marriage
Today, I have the privilege of sitting down with Scott Zemens who epitomizes the power of personal transformation within family life and fatherhood. He’s a dedicated business owner who, not long ago, found himself struggling to find balance in his life—feeling distant from his family and yearning for deeper connections with his kids.
When he joined the Dad Edge Alliance, he made a bold commitment to step up, starting with daily, meaningful conversations with his children—asking open-ended questions to truly understand their world. On top of that, he made a life-changing decision to give up alcohol for a year, a move that radically reshaped his mindset, relationships, and energy as a father.
The results have been extraordinary. His wife has expressed how much she loves the father he’s become, especially his leadership in the home after the arrival of their baby last October. His kids now have a dad who listens more, talks less, and focuses on creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Today, we’ll dive into his journey—what inspired these changes, the lessons he’s learned, and the advice he’d give to his pre-Alliance self about stepping into the kind of father, husband, and leader his family deserves.
This special "WINSday" edition is all about celebrating our members' successes and sharing the valuable lessons they've learned on their journey to becoming better dads. Sit back, tune in, and get ready to be motivated by the remarkable guests of the Dad Edge community.
