We have to learn to not despise the hard times in our life, because that's where most of the work is done.

John 15 says, I'm the vine.

You're the branches.

If you remain in me and I and you, you will bear much fruit.

Apart from me, you can do nothing.

So I like to use this example,

and I'm glad to get an opportunity to do today

because I haven't used it in a long time.

He says that he's the vine, we're the branch.

And so I had this, had Mike help me,

and he pulled this off of a bush on Wednesday, which

they don't look too bad, you know, for one day. It still looks good. And he pulled this one off on

Tuesday, and it's starting to wilt a little bit more. But it's still not terrible.

And then we get around to Monday.

And the point I'm trying to make is how you wilt and lose your energy and your common sense and everything else

the longer you stay away from God.

And then by the next day, so maybe some of you aren't feeling so sharp, but it's just

because you haven't spent time with God.

And then this one's three weeks old.

Three weeks old.
