Faith is powerful and we're going to discover today when we choose a lifestyle of faith, our life shifts

and comes in greater alignment with God's desires, his kingdom.

May God fill our hearts with faith,

and may our lives be filled with the fruit of trusting in our good and able God.

Welcome to the First of Team Podcast. Our verse for today comes from Hebrews 1130. Scripture says by faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they been encircled

for seven days. The Holy Spirit loves to move with power in response to faith.

Hebrews 1130 tells us that by faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encircled

for seven days. And Hebrews 1132 through 33 says, for time would fail me to tell

of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jefftha, of David and Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered kingdoms,

enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions.

As we conclude this week on living by faith,

I believe God would fill us with a fresh revelation of his power.

Let's open our hearts and minds to receive all that God would reveal

to us about his power and invite him to work in our midst in faith today. We serve the Creator of all. First Chronicles 2911 says,

yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory, and the victory and the

majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours

yours is the kingdom oh Lord and you are exalted as a head above all and throughout scripture we see God using his power in response to the

faith of his people. Whether it be the walls of Jericho tumbling down into rubble or

the lame man at the temple gate called beautiful jumping

to his feet.
