This actual moment is November 23rd, 2019, and I wanted to note that here for future listeners because we are living in exciting, scary times, my friends, wacky and wild, and I believe, historically unprecedented.

I always strive to be impartial here on the rare times that I do mention politics

because it's important to me that everyone who listens to the show feels respected.

I will say, though, that that has at times been a struggle, especially the past few years. And most of the time, I choose to just not go there

at all because I don't fully trust myself to hold my tongue, not completely. I also believe that

one of the most unproductive things that we can do when the world is so fiercely divided as it

currently seems to be is to further alienate and try to publicly shame the people who have had
