0:28.3	So I would love to hear both of your backgrounds
0:31.4	and we haven't even teased out what Commons is yet to our audience.
0:36.1	So I'd love to start with your backgrounds and then how you got to be the founders of Commons
0:42.2	and what you're doing now. So Tahira, let's start with you.
0:46.9	Sure. So I have been in a cannabis industry since 2014 and really the evolution I think to get to Commons is just the building on the different experiences.
0:59.0	My background three that coming into this industry is more traditional financial services.
1:04.7	Was it a hedge fund and before that earns a nyon.
1:06.7	And so knew that I wanted to do something that was more mission oriented and just happened to discover cannabis while I was in business school because my grandfather had stage for lung cancer.
1:20.0	As happens with a lot of families who are going through that experience,
1:23.4	my mother started looking for alternative treatments and kept coming across
1:27.4	cannabis in her late night Google searches.
1:29.9	And this was 2013, so there wasn't a lot out there.
1:34.5	My family is in Ohio, and so it certainly was not one of the early legal markets either.
1:39.6	So just the awareness that kind of came to us was the lack of availability and the understanding
1:46.7	that there was so much information out there about how cannabis could really help people.
