Okay, welcome to you, this day, as we come together on the morning mindset to get our minds

align with the truth of God.

Was looking through the stats dashboard this morning.

Just looking at the places where people are.

So if you are in any of these places, Guatemala, Iraq, Benin, Kuwait, Poland, Finland, Russian Federation, Cayman Islands, Lesotho, for the Islamic

Republic of Iran.

I welcome you to the morning night said, I'm so thankful to know that you were across

the globe from me, but you're listening and you're joining together with me to align your mind with

the truth of God. That is what we are about.

And I can't think of a better passage

to be doing that with than the passage

we're studying right now in the book of Romans,

chapter 8.

We're gonna go back over verses 5 through 8 again this morning

simply because it is so fundamental to what we're doing with the morning mindset.

I'm going to read the passage and then let's talk about a little more.

For those who live according to the flesh, set their minds on the things of the flesh.

But those who live according to the spirit set their minds on the things of the spirit.

For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the spirit is life and peace.

For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God,

for it does not submit to God's law.

Indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
