I won the European title that day.

I won the world title that day.

I broke probably 15, 16 British European Commonwealth and World Records.

One of the best days of my lifting career, as it were, and yet that light I tried to take my own life.

And I heard a voice say to me, you cannot take your life.

And I said, who are you?

And this voice said to me, I'm your father.

week of listening to great stories. We're so relentlessly bombarded by negativity in the press.

And I'm like, get off the 24-7 news cycle because you're just letting someone else curate all the bad stuff to make you more cynical and anxious and depressed and defeated. And I got no doubt this week we are going to be inspired because we got with us the legendary Arthur White. Welcome, Arthur. Thank you, Simon. Thank you very much. Legendary. That's a good. Yeah, yeah, that's the good. No, I love that. I thought that was only given to dead people. No, well, some people get the privilege of being called in their lifetimes, and I'm so glad you're still alive. Lots of people in your trade probably aren't because of the lifestyle and what you sort of what you put your body through.

But Arthur, for context, guys, was a British four-time world champion powerlifter.

I'm not going to go through all his sporting achievements, but there are loads over a 30-year career.

And then after that successful career, sort of life spired a bit due to steroid cocaine addiction and he'll talk about it, infidelity.

And yet he found his Christian faith.

Some of you might have heard of tough talk.

In fact, we had Simon Pinchbeck, one of your buddies on here a couple years ago.

And I heard you at the gathering, I'm guessing about 10 years ago, a pat crowd of men, absolutely superb story.

And then a few months ago, we are together at the J-John Conference with your lovely wife, Jackie,

and I know your daughter, Emma, through speaking at Creation Fest number of times.

She's at Premier Radio, I think.

Anyway, that's enough context.
