All right. Well, let me ask you this question before we jump into the word of God.

Do you feel like God has something big for you,

but there is maybe just something in your life right now

a season that you're in that just doesn't seem to align with

what you feel God has called you to. There's just something that is just not

quite there yet. The truth is that we all can go through this but what I want to tell you is that there's intentionality with where you are today.

There's a man in the Bible, his name is David, and I feel like he could understand what it was like to feel called to something great

and yet find himself in a lot of seasons that didn't feel like the great season he thought

he was called to. And so he sees himself in these seasons of life,

and I want to tell you that we all go through seasons in life.

You have a call and a purpose from God.

It is a big call, it is a good call and he wants you to

fulfill it but there is some seasons that you're going to go through in life.

Here's what the Bible actually says about David in Act 13,

verse 36.

It says, for when David had served God's purpose

in his own generation, he fell asleep.

See, it says,

David had served God's purpose in his own generation.
