What a game that sort of encircled everything about Carolina basketball the last few years, but it certainly looked good early.

It did play great in the first half. Tennessee did not play well. That's a fair comment. I did think

they'd make a run. You can certainly point to some things that were disappointing the second

half, allowing them to get back into the game the way they did. But a lot of positives.

I think the number one thing for me was how Elliott played and controlled the offense,

took unbelievable care of the ball.

His vision has obviously been noted, but this was really, I thought the first game,

he seemed to be really comfortable, getting people involved, making

timely passes, and at times controlling the entire game from an offensive standpoint.

So that was encouraging.
