This was such a treat to go back through. I was in not a lot of this episode and actually wasn't even around when our guest star made his very famous appearance on this show.

I was trying to think of how many other big guest stars we had in the first season, which this show is from, West Parker, I think was in first season.

The episode that we're going over today is The Possible Dream from Season 1.

First aired February 27, 1970. It was the 22nd episode of Season 1. It was directed by Oscar Rudolph, written by Al Schwarz and Bill Friedman. Now, Al was Sherwood's cousin, brother,

uncle? He wasn't. I think cousin, and I really don't know, we would have to research that related. I think that Al and Sherwood did a lot of riding together. And we see Al's name

come up several times, particularly in the first season, because as we've

discussed, I think many of these shows, many of the first shows, at least the first half of the

season were already mapped out on the condition.

But I don't know if the 20s, this has a production number of 24, which would mean that it was right near the end.

We did 20, it was a pilot in 24 episodes, so 25 episodes, I believe, in the first season.

But episode production number 24 means that it was in the latter part of that first season, very latter part of that first season.

Those episodes, I'm not sure, were part of the first 13 that were pre-written, you know,
