Welcome to On The Bench. I'm your host for this episode, Brendan Sonone, joined by my

0:22.0

normal cast and crew of OTB, Chris Nie, Zach Blosting, gentlemen, hello, happy May to

0:27.5

you. Happy almost May the fourth be with you. No, look at you nerding out. It's my birthday

0:33.7

month. Oh, dude, don't say that. It's my birth month. Just, no, it wasn't it wasn't birth

0:40.2

or birthday. It was like, I can't stand grown-ups who have a birthday week. And then let's

0:45.0

celebrate my whole month. Oh, my God. That's ridiculous. No, but I do agree. People that

0:50.4

celebrate an entire week for the birthday are crazy. Newberg. What? Actually? Oh, he would let us know

that it was his birthday week. RIP Josh. Okay, guys, let's get into it. The comings and goings,

1:41.3

going to turn our attention to what they could be gaining. And there's just the recruiting process

1:45.0

with the transfer portal, not the windows closed, who's in there, what are your needs, etc.

1:49.6

All that stuff. Since we last talked, the big addition into the transfer portal from Florida

1:55.0

state's perspective, I guess departure is why to see for Mike Epitman, he was a starter in the

2:00.0

slot last year, also starting returner. So in general, a fairly big deal. And he's one of

2:06.0

nine players from the roster to go ahead and leave this spring. Chris, I just general thoughts,

2:11.6

like what FSU ended up losing, portal is closed, the dust is settled. I guess what stands out

2:16.4

about the 15-day window that we just experienced? Well, out of the nine, I think there's three that
