Today I'm joined by and Josh is one of the nerds who celebrate. I'm joined by Josh and Logan today.

And some days you really got to go searching for news, but today we have a solar eclipse. We have the Vatican

document, Dignitas, Infinita, and Donald Trump released his abortion strategy for his campaign. So we

didn't have to search too hard, but I'm going to start with seeing how my guests are doing. How are you guys doing on this

Monday? Doing great great i feel like the

weekend was really fast this this weekend it was just monday and we're back well and you know in the

in the news business they say uh they they they call something a friday news afternoon news dump

when everyone's already thinking about the weekend and get your news out on a Friday afternoon.

Hopefully no one will hardly notice it and people will be like, whatever, and they go on to whatever they plan for the weekends.

So you're like, well, this seems like the opposite.

We're going to have all this news come Monday morning.

And actually, it's not really that different because if you're the Pope or you're Trump,

you're like, hey, everyone's focusing on the eclipse.

Let's get this news out today.

It's like, it's not a bad strategy, actually.

I mean, I think obviously the Pope did it more because you know you're going

to talk about children uh being exploited you know through surrogacy and in vitro fertilization

the best day to do that is on today when we catholics celebrate the initiation so this feast is

normally march 25th it got got moved to April 8 because March 25th was during Holy Week and that you don't want to supersede Holy Week. So anunciation gets moved to April 8. And that's actually a natural day for the Pope to come out with a statement condemning surrogacy, talking about it being a commercialization

of the beautiful role between a mother and a child. So that I'm not trying to joke with the whole

news dump stuff today. That actually is a natural day for the Pope to put this out.
