We did an analysis when we first got into the White House that showed that almost all of the job creation that happened under President Biden was the employment of illegal aliens.

And so by securing the border, by reinforcing immigration law, you know, there were some that said that we'd never, we wouldn't have enough workers to grow the economy. You can remember that. But in fact, what has happened is great high-paying jobs to be going to American citizens.

This morning, National Economic Advisor Kevin Hassett told CNBC's Joe Kernan that thanks to Donald's profound decision-making skills, the economy and the midterms are looking great

for Republicans. In other words, he lied. I think that one of the things that's happening is

that the world is changing so fast right now. The President Trump has sort of taken every

problem on earth and got 100% at fixing it.

And I think that that can be stressful for people to see so much change going on.

But the bottom line is that in the end, when we look at what happens for elections,

that people look at their wallets, they see how they're doing.

You know, the economy is growing very strong.

Incomes are growing.

You and I have talked about Rayfair for 20 years.

Rayfair of Yale says GDP in the second quarter is the thing that tells you what's going to happen

in the election. And so I think that right now Republicans should feel very, very good about the

trajectory of the economy. Well, an appropriate smiling person, Kevin Hassett, clearly either doesn't know or doesn't want you to know what's actually going on.

According to the Congressional Budget Office projections, the United States is now spending more money on interest on the national debt than it is spending on our national defense. And as you know,

we are spending almost a trillion dollars on our national defense. The CBO's 2026 budget outlook
