For example, who can forget when Republican Senator Ted Stevens from Alaska famously said this in 2006 while debating against net neutrality.

The internet is not something that you just dump something on. It's not a big truck. It's a series of tubes.

Even our current president seems to rely on aging stereotypes of who and what a hacker is.

It could also be lots of other people. It also could be somebody sitting on their bed
