Summary

The Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is continuing to come under pressure for his decision to appoint Peter Mandelson as the UK Ambassador to the U.S. despite apparent concerns from Cabinet members, but as our panel discuss it’s the treatment of women and girls by powerful men that has sparked this political fire.

Our panel this week is Baroness Ayesha Hazarika, Former Head of News and Current Affairs at Channel 4 Dorothy Byrne, and Former Downing Street Director of Communications Craig Oliver.

Work and Pensions Secretary Pat McFadden joins us this week from the Government. For the Conservatives, Shadow Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster Alex Burghart and Labour peer Lord Glasman are also with us to make sense of everything.

You can watch Sunday Morning with Trevor Phillips every weekend from 8:30am on Sky News
