Schedules had not been aligning. So I'm back at you with a throwback episode. It's

actually episode number 15. And it's, the guest is really great. I, I re-listened to it before I'm

putting it out now. And it just reminded me why I was so excited to have him on in the first place.

He's a police helicopter pilot. I think the only one to ever have come on the show. And it's just fascinating to hear how these guys train, the calls he's went to, you know, shooting from the helicopter, all this stuff. I never, I never have, I hadn't then, and I haven't since then, ever worked with the police department that had an air wing. The guest I'm talking about served as an aviation unit supervisor for the

Ontario Police Department. And before that, he was a canine handler for the Ontario Police

Department. And I'm talking about the great Sergeant Eric Weidner. Without further ado,

So you were introduced to me through the first interview I ever did, Rob McCreary.

You grew up with Rob or you know Rob somehow, correct?

Yeah, I knew Rob as an acquaintance because you worked for a neighboring agency.

And then I was in canines when he got into canines. So got to know I'm a little

bit better that way. Okay, that makes sense. Canine's usually a pretty tight-knit group of guys.

Yeah, and we were in the same training group. Our cities trained together. So that was, we, we saw
