What happens when God's design is inverted and subverted?

For the Colson Center, I'm John Stone Street with the point.

Not long ago, what we ate was considered a matter of personal preference,

and our sexual appetites were a moral issue that required regulating.

Well, times have changed.

In every society throughout history, sex was seen as a moral matter of public concern.

The main reason is because sex can result in children, so it has

implications for the entire community. With the advent of contraception and the popularization of

abortion, sex is no longer seen as a public moral issue, but only one of personal consent. On the

other hand, food is increasingly seen as a public moral issue because of the ecological

implications of food production and the

promotion of personal health as the ultimate good. Well, Scripture tells us that we should steward

our bodies, but that all foods are acceptable if they're received with Thanksgiving, and that

our sexuality is designed by God with purpose and with moral guardrails to keep it from becoming

harmful and toxic. In other words, when we worship the creation instead of the creator,

everything gets turned back to front.
