Those are the words of Nome-Libiskeen, a postdoctoral researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics

Potsdam. He was referring to a recent finding in astrophysics. Scientists have long thought that

the entire universe is interconnected by a cosmic web of dark matter and gas structures. What Leibiskeen

and his team found was that these colossal filaments are rotating.

It makes them the largest objects known to have angular momentum.

In Leibiskin's words, they're not just swarming randomly.

There's actually an ordered motion to them.

Cutting edge astrophysics research like this might be over most of our heads.

But the awe of finding

order in the universe is familiar to anyone who's looked closely at a flower or at the night sky.
