Hi, thanks for listening to The Point. This week, we're revisiting some of the most important

commentaries from the past year. From all of us at the Colson Center, Merry Christmas,

and a happy new year. Amazon is now silencing all dissent on the gender issue. For the Colson

Center, I'm John Stone Street with The Point. Several months ago, Amazon began banning books

deemed dangerous to LGBTQ people. Some of these

books were indeed demeaning and hateful and unhelpful, but others simply questioned the dominant

narratives about homosexuality or gender dysphoria. And now Amazon has banned one of the most

thoroughly research books available on the transgender issue when Harry became Sally, responding to the transgender

moment by Dr. Ryan Anderson. In the book, Anderson shared stories of people who aren't even

supposed to exist, detransitioners, those who regret undergoing gender transition. And he argues

convincingly using the best biology, psychology, and philosophy that sex is a bodily reality, not a social construct.

Anderson's case is powerful, so powerful apparently that supporters of transgender ideology resorted to coercion,

name-calling, and enlisting companies like Amazon, Facebook, and Twitter to silence dissent.
